Tea Party and Things, Inc. was created by my mother, younger sister and me in the spring of 2005, to express real day to day meaningful expressions we could not find while shopping traditional greeting card retailers. We collaborated on our vision with me (Kiara) as the writer and Nia as the designer. We hoped to create a multi-cultural, humorous and inspirational greeting card line.
We wanted the cards to represent the uniqueness of the African-American family, as well as all families. Our themes are multi-cultural as is the world we live in today.
Most of our cards feature grainy nontraditional graphics with bright colors, often with a bit of comic relief that we have come to love. We hope you will too.
